It has to look extraordinary in photographs, it has to get someone in a gown in and out of it without a fight, and it has to be somewhere at a specific minute. That rules out some obvious choices and makes a few less obvious ones the right answer.
The two that were built for this
Rolls-Royce Wraith — $1,200 / 24 hours
The Wraith is the classic wedding car for a reason: coach doors that open backwards, an enormous aperture to step through, and a silhouette that reads instantly in a photograph from fifty feet away. A $2,000 refundable deposit applies. If you only book one car for the day, this is usually it.
Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge — $1,500 / 24 hours
The Cullinan Black Badge is the Wraith's answer for a full wedding party. Rear executive seating, a Starlight headliner that photographs beautifully at an evening reception, and a ride height that makes getting in and out in formalwear genuinely easy. $2,000 deposit. It's the better pick when more than two people need to travel together, or when the weather is uncooperative.
Strong alternatives
- Mercedes-Benz S580 — $600. Discreet, immaculate, and the most comfortable rear seat for the money. A sensible second car for parents or grandparents.
- Cadillac Escalade — $600. The practical workhorse: bridesmaids, dresses, and everything that needs to move between the ceremony and the reception.
- Lamborghini Huracán Evo Spyder — $1,400. Not the ceremony car. An excellent getaway car for a summer exit, and a spectacular photo set.
- Ferrari 488 GTB — $1,400. Same logic: use it for portraits and the departure, not for transporting a gown across town.
A low-slung supercar and a full-length dress do not get along. If you want a Lamborghini or Ferrari in the photos, book it alongside a Rolls-Royce or Escalade rather than instead of one.
Consider the chauffeur option
For a wedding, professional point-to-point chauffeur service is usually the better arrangement. Nobody in the wedding party has to think about parking at the venue, no one is driving after the reception, and the timing is someone else's responsibility. Venue delivery across the suburbs
A large share of Chicago-area weddings happen outside the city, and we deliver to all of it. - Book the date as early as you can. Saturdays between May and October are the tightest dates in the calendar.
- Rentals run in 24-hour periods, so a car delivered the morning of the ceremony covers the whole day and the exit.
- Multi-day discounts apply if you want the car for a rehearsal dinner the night before.
- Self-drive rentals still require a valid license and full coverage comprehensive/collision insurance from whoever is driving.
